Eddie graduated from SUNY Buffalo with a degree of Physical Therapy in 1998 and from Nassau Comm. College with a PTA degree in 1992. Eddie has diverse clinical experience in all fields of Rehabilitation having acquiring a wide range of skills being employed at Hospital Institutions, MD owned PT Practices and Outpatient Orthopedic /Sport injury facilities. In addition to Eddies’ clinical experiences he has been involved in various athlete activities throughout his life, at competitive levels and as recreational interest. With a diverse athletic background Eddie has first hand, in-depth, practical knowledge on various strength and flexibility training techniques. Prior to becoming involved in the health profession Eddie also has 10 years experience as a blue collar worker familiar with the importance of proper body mechanics, conditioning and proper work environments necessary to avoid injury. Eddie excels at evaluating his Patients involving clinical diagnosis, with problem solving skills to help determine the onset cause of symptoms, devising custom exercise programs, and incorporating specific functional activities to assist Patients regain independence and return to prior level of daily living routines. Eddie demonstrates great pride and concern for all his Patients’ well being, closely monitoring progress, and modifying programs as tolerated. Every Patient is designed a comprehensive HEP to aid in the speed of recovery with the goal of improving/restoring the optimum quality of life.

John Douglas, PTA Owner/ Director PTA: Applied Science & Physical Therapy Assistant, Nassau Community College, Garden City/Westbury, NY Certified: Aquatic Therapy, Golf Instruction Member American Physical Therapy Association Board of Directors of the Arthritis Foundation John has been in physical therapy for over 15 years. In that time, he has helped improve the lives of over 10,000 patients. John’s inspiration came from his father, a bilateral amputee of the lower extremity who only had use of one arm, and from his grandmother, who suffered from severe arthritis. Watching their physical therapy treatment moved him to pursue physical therapy as a career path. John is especially passionate about the benefits of aquatic therapy for people with arthritis and has been certified in aquatic therapy for 15 years. He also lectures on arthritis and aquatic therapy and sits on the Board of Directors for the Arthritis Foundation. But his overall mission is to help people with all kinds of physical problems to gain independence and a better quality of life.
